The report concerns the administration of the so-called rate adjustment pool, which is a pool of public funds earmarked for the most disadvantaged groups of citizens in the Danish society.
The purpose of the study is to assess whether the administration of the rate adjustment pool by the Ministry of Children, Gender Equality, Integration and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Employment, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, and the Ministry of Finance, is adequate and transparent. The report answers the following questions:
- Is the Ministry of Finance administering the rate adjustment pool in a satisfactory manner and providing a valid basis for the annual calculation of the amount of funds in the pool?
- Do the Ministry of Children, Gender Equality, Integration and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Employment and the Ministry of Health and Prevention follow up on the use of the pool funds?
