This report concerns the government’s administration in 2025, which we have examined in 57 thematic audits.
The purpose of the audits has been to assess whether an authority complies with specific regulations (compliance audit) or whether its administration is appropriate, i.e. whether it takes due economic considerations (performance audit).
Rigsrevisionen assesses that the ministries’ administration is satisfactory in the majority of the audits. We describe 16 of the audits in the report. The cases concern:
- procurement by three ministries
- the Ministry of the Interior and Health’s administration of fee schemes
- the Ministry of Justice’s compliance with the rules on rest periods for prison staff
- IT security in several ministries
- the Ministry of Defence’s helicopter emergency response
- the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries’ control of compliance with immediate fisheries regulations
- the Ministry of Taxation’s remuneration of board members and management of IT projects.
Rigsrevisionen has initiated the report on its own initiative.
