The report concerns the Ministry of Defence’s facilities management.
The purpose of the study is to assess whether the Ministry of Defence has managed facility management satisfactorily since 2022, when the Ministry brought the task back in-house from ISS. Rigsrevisionen answers the following questions in the report:
- Does the Ministry of Defence follow up sufficiently on expenditure?
- Does the Ministry of Defence follow up sufficiently on quality?
Rigsrevisionen assesses that the Ministry of Defence’s management of its facility management has not been satisfactory since 2022. Expenditure has increased significantly, but due to inadequate management, the Ministry does not know which areas are driving the increase or whether the increase reflects an improvement in service quality.
Rigsrevisionen initiated the study in February 2025.
